Build the Future of Deterministic Intelligence
We build systems that users can trust when the stakes are absolute.
Autonomy & Accountability
We hire engineers who can own a problem from the first whiteboard sketch to the final production deployment. You help define the solution.
Engineering over Hype
We prefer boring, reliable code over fragile, flashy trends. Our systems must hold up under audit, attack, and years of operation.
Mission Critical
Our work protects infrastructure and informs high-stakes decisions. The problems we solve matter in the real world.
Open Positions
AI Research Engineer (Applied Math & Differentiable Physics)
We are seeking an AI Engineer to help evolve our neurosymbolic systems that depart fundamentally from transformer-based architectures. This role is centered on the development of learning-enabled dynamical systems that integrate mathematical structure, physical priors, and symbolic reasoning.
Key Requirements
- Strong grounding in applied mathematics, computational physics
- Demonstrated experience with Scientific Machine Learning, differentiable programming, or physics-informed learning
- Solid understanding of dynamical systems, differential equations, optimization, and numerical methods
- Proficiency in Python and at least one major ML framework
Role Overview
We are seeking an AI Research Engineer to advance the Symbiogent platform. While much of the industry focuses on language models that predict text, we are building systems that model causality, physics and logic in continuous time.
This is a research-focused engineering role for someone comfortable at the intersection of applied mathematics, computational physics and machine learning, with a strong interest in Scientific Machine Learning (SciML) and differentiable physics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel cognitive architectures based on dynamical systems rather than transformer paradigms
- Work closely with the team to move ideas from theory into functioning systems
- Document architectures, experiments and results clearly for internal and external stakeholders
- Develop neurosymbolic representations that combine continuous dynamics with logical and geometric structure
Required Qualifications
- Strong foundation in applied mathematics, computational physics or a closely related quantitative discipline
- Demonstrated experience with Scientific Machine Learning, differentiable programming or physics-informed learning
- Solid understanding of dynamical systems, differential equations, optimization and numerical methods
- Proficiency in Python and at least one major ML framework
- Experience implementing custom models beyond standard deep-learning templates
- Ability to reason rigorously about mathematical structure and translate it into software systems
- Bachelor's degree required; master's or PhD strongly preferred in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
Preferred Experience
- Research experience in differentiable physics, physics-informed neural networks or neural differential equations
- Familiarity with symbolic methods, logical representations or geometric approaches to reasoning
- Experience with hybrid continuous-discrete or neurosymbolic systems
- Background in scientific computing, high-performance computing or simulation frameworks
- Publications or open-source contributions in relevant technical areas
What We Offer
- The opportunity to work on fundamental AI research that challenges prevailing architectural assumptions
- A highly technical, research-oriented environment with meaningful autonomy
- Direct influence on the design of a new computational paradigm
- Competitive contract compensation with the potential for long-term engagement
- Flexible working arrangements
How To Apply
Please submit your résumé and a brief cover letter describing your relevant background and interest in neurosymbolic systems, SciML or differentiable physics. Where applicable, include links to publications, preprints, technical writing or code repositories.
Security Engineer / Offensive Researcher
We are seeking a highly capable Security Engineer / Offensive Researcher to operate across three tightly integrated domains: securing and evolving our own SaaS and AI-driven security platform, delivering advanced security engagements for external clients, and conducting applied security research that feeds directly into product capabilities.
Key Requirements
- Design and implement security improvements across our SaaS and AI-based security platform
- Conduct threat modeling and architectural risk analysis of new and existing product features
- Build and maintain internal security tooling, scanners, and automated validation systems
- Lead and execute advanced security assessments
Role Overview
This is not a narrow penetration-testing role or a purely defensive security-engineering role. You will work across security-system development, red and blue team operations on real systems, and the conversion of what you learn into scalable tools, product capabilities and repeatable methods.
You will collaborate closely with product engineers, data and platform teams, and client stakeholders. The ideal candidate is comfortable delivering production code, leading complex security assessments and formalizing security knowledge into systems.
Key Responsibilities: Product And Platform Security
- Design and implement security improvements across our SaaS and AI-based security platform
- Conduct threat modelling and architectural risk analysis for new and existing product features
- Build and maintain internal security tooling, scanners and automated validation systems
- Integrate security testing and detection logic into CI/CD and cloud environments
- Improve telemetry, attack-surface visibility and detection-signal quality
Key Responsibilities: Offensive Security And Client Engagements
- Lead advanced security assessments across web, API and SaaS applications, cloud and infrastructure, and identity, access and tenant-isolation controls
- Perform attack-path modelling, exploit development and chained attack simulations
- Assess client environments against security frameworks and real-world threat models
- Deliver high-quality technical reports, remediation guidance and executive summaries
- Help clients validate fixes and improve their security posture
Key Responsibilities: Applied Research And AI Enablement
- Research emerging vulnerabilities and attack techniques
- Translate offensive findings into datasets, heuristics, scanners and product capabilities
- Build proofs of concept to validate detection and prevention strategies
- Participate in adversarial testing of AI-driven security systems
- Continuously refine internal methods from real-world findings
Required Qualifications
- Significant hands-on experience in offensive security, security engineering or red-team roles
- A demonstrated ability to independently deliver professional security assessments and penetration tests
- Strong programming ability in Python and at least one of Go, Rust or C/C++
- Deep understanding of modern SaaS architectures, cloud environments and identity systems
- Practical experience with web and API security, cloud security and infrastructure attack surfaces
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing deliverables
Preferred Experience
- Experience building security platforms, scanning engines or detection systems
- Applied security research, exploit development, fuzzing or reverse engineering
- Cloud security engineering or detection-engineering experience
- Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Benchmarks and MITRE ATT&CK
- Contributions to open-source tools, security research or published findings
- Experience with AI-driven security tools or adversarial ML testing
- Experience with Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs)
What We Offer
- The opportunity to work on foundational AI research in cybersecurity
- A highly technical, research-oriented environment with meaningful autonomy
- Professional growth with support for advanced training
- Competitive contract compensation with the potential for long-term engagement
- Flexible working arrangements
How To Apply
Please submit your résumé and a brief cover letter describing your background in security engineering and/or offensive security, and the kinds of systems you have worked on. Where applicable, include links to publications, preprints, technical writing or code repositories.
