Systems Engineering Through Changing Technology

Evodant Group Inc. is a software, data, cybersecurity and AI engineering company focused on decision intelligence, production AI, cybersecurity and the software and data foundations required to operate them reliably.

Our Purpose

Advance without losing control.

As technology becomes more capable, the gap between what systems can do and what organizations and people can confidently understand, govern and control continues to widen. Yet the organization and its people remain accountable for the outcome.

Evodant exists to help organizations advance without losing control of consequential decisions. We turn that purpose into three engineering commitments:

Evidence You Can Trust

Decisions begin with evidence whose source, quality, freshness and relevance can be established. Defining the sources of truth.

Authority You Can Govern

Recommendations and actions operate within defined permissions, policies and approval boundaries.

Outcomes You Can Measure

Decision paths and actions are recorded so results can be evaluated, defended and improved.

Timeline

2006

Foundation

Established in Winnipeg, Canada, with early work in high-availability enterprise architecture and secure ecommerce infrastructure.

2010

Real-Time and Multi-Agent Systems

Expanded into high-performance simulation, distributed interactive systems and multi-agent coordination. Hybrid cognitive research from this period led to Symbiogent.

2018

Decision Data

Applied lineage, integrity and repeatable processing to large-scale data pipelines, shifting emphasis from storage toward evidence suitable for operational decisions.

2021

ODSE Formalized

Formalized Operational Decision Systems Engineering as a method for connecting data, process, software, security and human judgment around operational decisions.

2025–Present

Decision Intelligence and Symbiogent R&D

Focused commercial work on governed decision intelligence solutions while advancing experimental neuro-symbolic architecture for traceable decision support through Symbiogent.
